Engines of various modifications are available depending on the MAN commercial vehicle model you choose. For TGL and TGM trucks, the manufacturer offers 4.6L and 6.9L diesel engines ranging from 160hp (118kW) to 320hp (235kW). TGS and TGX trucks and city buses are equipped with new 9L diesel enginea up to 400 hp (294 kW) and 1,800 Nm of torque or the renewed 12.4L diesel engines and 510 hp (375 hp) kW), 2600 Nm. The most powerful TGX trucks are equipped by a 15.2L diesel engine which develops up to 640 hp (471 kW) and a maximum torque of 3000 Nm. Depending on the truck work specification, the engines can be fitted with various types of MAN or ZF gearboxes.
